While it is tempting to saddle this poor guy with a scythe he has no idea how to use or possibly even lift up, I see no one has mentioned any interest in the ability to see souls thing yet. How would that work, exactly? I'm a bit unfamiliar with the series, although I've told myself a thousand times to read it properly.

Mostly it aides in reaping, but it also means that you can't sneak up on him because as long as you have a soul he knows where you are at all times. He knows what you are, human dwarf, ..etc. Sometimes it means he knows people's names but that can be a hit or miss.
Hmmm... available pranks during that time is tough too. Maybe Date could find a guitar and play Don't Fear the Reaper outside his window. It's not MUCH of a prank but it's something.
Pffffh true enough. Well Date has a LOT of targets and even then, he can probably do something nice for people. Even if it fails miserably from a pranking point of view.
I'm thinking Clover will just try to hit all of her targets with a bucket full of paint, h-haha. She doesn't want to apply too much imagination to something the town is forcing her to do!

I hope you don't mind me contacting you about this, but I saw your comment in the crash log and wasn't sure if you'd seen the recent mod announcement here (http://ataraxionooc.dreamwidth.org/592625.html). I don't speak for the mods but from what I've seen them saying to other players I think it might be worth checking with them whether death needs to be humanized under the new rule.
